Swing Guitar Basics
Starting with getting the relaxed groove of swing rhythm, we'll learn basic movable chords, classic swing progressions, and standard tunes. We will look at ways to improvise off of a melody and chord progression, as well as how to play off of a "lead sheet" and develop soloing ideas. Some basic theory will be covered. This is a playing session. You will receive the list of tunes before the workshop so we can right to the music.
