Fingerstyle Arrangements and Improvisation

Many of you have been asking for a workshop focusing on some of Woody's
instrumentals and songs. Using his own fingerstyle arrangements, Woody will
be teaching rhythmic picking techniques, practical ways to understand chord progressions and
form, connecting jazz concepts with fingerstyle based blues ideas, and ways to improvise within a tune. Woody will illustrate how the ideas form a basis for,
and can be used in various styles of guitar playing including ragtime,
swing, early jazz, and contemporary sounds. This workshop offers a fresh new repertoire of sounds and songs to build on, and ways to apply
the ideas to your own music. Music/tab will be provided, and it is recommended
